Security forces identify Makki Mosque employees

The video shows Makki Mosque employees being gathered around by security forces who identify them and take pictures of them. The mosque has been the centre of many Friday prayer protests in Zahedan. By identifying the mosque's workers, security forces can now threaten persecution and harrassment against them and their families. This is one of many ways the regime is repressing the protests and creating fear for those who allow them to take place.

Zahedan is a city in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan. It is home to Baluchi people, most of whom are Sunni Muslims. This province has been historically one of the poorest and most repressed. As such, its death count from the ongoing protests is one of the highest across the country.
