A video was taken of what appears to be an ambulance with its lights on. The poster alleges that this was taken of a women’s university dormitory in Zahedan where security forces beat the women inside.
Ambulances have been used since the beginning of the 2022 protests to transport personnel discretely and to arrest protestors. This is not a new practice and was utilised during the November 2019 crackdown. However, video evidence shows its nationwide spread.
